The Studio Ghibli animated kids' show "Ronja the Robber's Daughter," narrated by Gillian Anderson, has been greenlit by Amazon Studios.

Adapting a 1981 piece of Swedish children's literature, whose author Astrid Lindgren is well known for creating Pippi Longstocking, "Ronja the Robber's Daughter" is expected later this fall.

Amazon also ordered "Little Big Awesome" from Ghibli, the Japanese production house behind "Spirited Away," "My Neighbor Totoro" and "The Wind Rises."
