Grace Wong not yet ready to sacrifice career for motherhood
3 Dec – TVB actress Grace Wong recently clarified her previous statement about having no plans to become a mother, saying that it doesn't mean that she dislikes children.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who sat down for an interview recently, explained that she just wants to focus on her career for the time being, rather than becoming a mother like good friends Linda Chung and Leanne Li.
"I have been with TVB for 11 years, and yet I haven't achieved much. I hope to continue to do better. My Cantonese is getting better, and I am enjoying my career as an actor, so I don't want to rush to get to the next stage," she said.
Grace stated that she can be considered a workaholic and a career-oriented woman.
"I like being an actor, because you can try a lot of different things in your work. But my real life is not as crazy. It doesn't have to be as colourful as in the dramas. Sometimes a simple and stable life is a blessing," she said.
