"When Heaven Burns" wins USCA

3 Jan – 2013's very first award show began with the 2012 Ultimate Song Chart Awards, with Eason Chan bringing home the most trophies.

Popular Asians reported that at the event that was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on 1 January, 34 awards were presented to winners, and the biggest winners of the night were Bowie Lam, Moses Chan and Kenny Wong.

The three stars took home the night's biggest award, which is the "My Favourite Song" Award, for their song "Youthful Ignorance", the ending theme of "When Heaven Burns" that was written and produced by Paul Wong.

It seems that although both the song and the critically acclaimed television drama "When Heaven Burns" were unpopular during its broadcast, both gained a large enough online following to win awards.

"Youthful Ignorance" also won the WeChat Chit Chat Most Popular Song Award.
