And if you just got to the episode where Charly Barby was cut from Training Camp and desperately need to know (a) where/how she is now and (b) if she fulfilled her goal to try out again in 2024, we! have! an! update!
First of all, some good news: The 2024 Training Camp is going down literally right now, and the official Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders account just dropped the names/photos of this year’s rookie candidates...including Charly!!!! Swipe right to see her pic from this year’s dance audition.
Obviously, this means Charly and her BFF Reece Allman (who is now a DCC vet) are officially reunited after their super emotional onscreen goodbye when Charly was cut from the team.
Meanwhile, Charly hopped on Instagram a few days ago to reflect on her time in Training Camp 2023, calling it “the most challenging, rewarding & amazing process I have ever had the chance to be a part of.”
She added, “It was a journey that will forever feel like a dream come true. If you told me at the beginning of this year that I was going to make it to the last cut in Training Camp I would have never believed you. I am so honored. 💙”
The dancer then went on to shout out the “incredible” group of people she met at DCC Training Camp, adding, “The amount of hard work, determination and dedication it takes to chase this dream is unlike anything, and I absolutely thrive off of it. I could go on and on about how much I love I have for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders & how incredible this summer has been.”
