Hillary Clinton Rewears Bow-Embellished Shoes for ‘Suffs’ Opening Night

Hillary Clinton seems to have a favorite shoe these days — a pair of bow-embellished low-heel ones. The former first lady was photographed wearing the black pair of heels twice this week. She first wore them for the opening night of “The Wiz” on Wednesday night and again on April 18 for the opening night of the musical “Suffs” on Broadway.

The shoes are comprised of suede and a heel that is seemingly about an inch high. The bow and pointed toe are the most recognizable details of the shoe, making them stand out from the rest of her outfit.
Bow-Embellished Trend
Bows have been especially popular since the early aughts. However, in recent years, there’s been an increase in bow-embellished accessories, including shoes. Erdem, Acne Studios and Bottega Veneta are a few brands that have recently featured bows in their runways. Meanwhile, Clinton and Victoria Beckham are some of the first celebrities dabbling into feminine trend this year. Beckham recently wore a pair of heels that featured a bow on the back to a film premiere in Los Angeles. While Clinton has featured bow-embellished shoes into her wardrobe the last couple of days.

Clinton usually wears boots, heels, flats and sneakers for the most part. In addition to the bow-embellished heels, she was seen wearing black ankle boots during a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” From time to time, she wears bold shoes, such as metallic high heels.
