Hollyoaks has aired some devastating scenes for Lucas Hay and Dillon Ray in the latest streaming episode, as the long-running 'conversion therapy' storyline has come to a head.

Meanwhile, Dillon managed to catch up with Lucas, and got him to admit that Carter has been trying to convert him.

"I'm not letting you leave me," Dillon told his friend. "All you've done is push me away, call me names, but it's not me that you hate. You hate yourself. And Mr Shepherd's made you think that whatever we feel isn't normal.

"I care about you so much. I love you. It's true. Can't you see it? I've tried to resist for the longest time, because I knew that it was hard for you... It doesn't need to be this hard, the world's not against us. If you say you love me too, we can be together."

In a tearful rage, Lucas attacked Dillon and knocked him to the ground, thumping him until he fell unconscious.

Realising what he had done, Lucas called an ambulance and tried to revive Dillon, saying he loved him too.

Back in the village, John Paul told Ste about what Carter had been doing to Lucas, and told him that he wasn't a bad father because his son felt he couldn't come out. Their conversation was interrupted when Hannah saw Carter looking for Lucas in the Pride crowd, and they restrained him.
