Hollyoaks star reveals nasty injury after gym accident
Hollyoaks' Stephanie Waring has shared a video of her lip injury following a gym accident.
Waring, who plays Cindy Cunningham on the Channel 4 soap, took to Instagram to reveal the split lip she suffered during training.
"Going to the gym is officially dangerous," the soap veteran said.
"So I've been doing hip thrusts with 36kg weight, and it rolled over my body and onto my face," she explained. "And I now have not only a split lip, but a gaping hole between my gum and my bottom lip."

The clip cuts to Waring wearing a mauve lipstick colour to "disguise" the split lip "in the outer world".
"It's very dramatic," she said.
"I think I get away with it," she continued, adding: "I can't believe it's taken me till my last block on Hollyoaks to discover a strong red lip."

Earlier this year, Waring said she was among the casualties of Hollyoaks seeing its episodes reduced to three and was going to be axed from the show.
"As an actress, obviously I understand there are no jobs for life, but with my 28 years on the show, I hoped that Cindy would survive the exciting revamp and continue into its new era," she wrote on social media. "Especially as I began playing her in 1996, making me the only original cast member remaining to be included in the cast cull, which I can only describe as gutting."
She added: "Hollyoaks is in my blood, and I have loved every minute of walking in Cindy’s heels."
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
