Home and Away is set to reveal an exciting career change for Cash Newman after his exit from the police.

Cash was suspended from his role after he helped Dana Matheson when she was on the run and therefore broke protocol.

While Dana was later proved innocent, Cash was still punished for breaking the rules and when he was told at a suspension review that he would be demoted with restricted duties, he refused and resigned from the police.
