Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers to break down after split from John

Home and Away will see Marilyn Chambers struggle after splitting with her husband John Palmer.
Following the couple's heartbreaking decision to go their separate ways during July 30's episode in Australia, Marilyn is staying at a motel.

In scenes airing this week in Australia and next month in the UK (via TV Week), Marilyn tries to put on a brave face – keeping a low profile and not bothering any of her friends or work colleagues.
Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher), back after attending Evan Slater's funeral, knows something is affecting Marilyn and says he's there if she needs him. Marilyn cries in response.
Marilyn ends up agreeing to move in with Alf and Roo. Although she rejects Alf's offer at first, she changes her mind and shows up at the Summer Bay house with her belongings.
Shane Withington, who plays John, recently told Digital Spy that he would love to see Jett James return to Summer Bay.
"[Will McDonald is] such a beautiful young actor – I hope so. That would be good if he turns up again as I do miss him," he said. "I'm lucky. All the young actors I've worked with all keep in touch with me. It's lovely."
Home and Away airs on weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
