He was in and out of Singapore like a (cruel) summer fling, but American football tight end Travis Kelce enjoyed his time here. Even if it was “hot as f—”, as he told his older brother, retired NFL player Jason Kelce, on their podcast New Heights.

The 34-year-old reportedly landed in Singapore on Thursday (7 March) night and attended the last two performances of The Eras Tour here. In case you somehow missed it, Kelce is dating the mega popstar Taylor Swift and she was performing for six nights in Singapore from 2 March to 9 March.

Speaking of his time here - he was also spotted dining at Koma with Swift after her concert on 8 March - Kelce said he got to check out “the world’s largest greenhouse” as a picture of the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay was shown.

“I’m a big plant guy,” said Kelce.

He added, “It was cool as f***. They had the world’s biggest waterfall in a greenhouse too. It was awesome, man. The way the whole thing was laid out, it was a very controlled space, and everything was blooming at the same time. It was so f****** unique and so nice.”

Aside from that and watching “two amazing shows of The Eras Tour”, Kelce also got to eat some “lovely Singapore food” - though he didn’t specify any dishes.

Why Travis Kelce feels Singapore is futuristic

His brother then mentioned that he had only seen pictures of the country and it looked very futuristic, “pristine”, with “a lot of glass” and “greenery”.

“Is this accurate?” the older Kelce.

Kelce replied, “It’s crazy. 1,000 per cent, yes… As advertised, it’s exactly that. The architecture is crazy. They have that one hotel, the Marina Bay Sands or something like that, where it looks like a boat is on top of three pillars… That thing (the Infinity Pool) is as advertised as well. Just absolutely cool as s*** to look at.”

The younger Kelce also confessed that he was “amazed by the lighting on the street” and how “thought out” everything was.

“You got the street lights, but like the building lights, the bus stops - the lighting that they have on there - it’s just very nice… Like you don’t have that in America. I’ve never seen this s*** ever,” he chuckled.

When asked whether he preferred Sydney (he was there to watch Swift perform too) or Singapore, Kelce said, “I love them both. I want to see more of Australia. I feel like I got to see more of Singapore, so I’m going to say Singapore was a little bit more interesting, for sure. More unique.”
