Intel, a multinational chip maker, showcased a smorgasbord of products during its 2nd Annual Intel Mobility Day held at the The Mind Museum in Taguig City.
During the keynote, Intel Philippines Country Manager Calum Chisholm, emphasized that mobility is on the rise and Intel doing its part to address it and Intel mobile experiences to consumers.
Some of the global brands that of Intel is partner with include Acer (Iconia A1 and W4), ASUS (Fonepad and Memopad), Dell (Venue), Lenovo (MIIX), and Samsung (TAB 3 10.1). Local partners expanding their footprint through Intel are CloudFone (CloudPad 800W), Felta (Intel-based education tablet), Polaroid (Elixir 7 and 10), Starmobile (Engage 9i), and Suntouch (Solstice IS1).
Intel also gave a demo of its 2:1 landscape, which is a new category in computing. This provides the best of a notebook and the best of a tablet in a single device. Brands with 2:1 landscape include Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, RedFox, Sony, and Toshiba.
