Jack Hui: I did not cause Katy Kung-Patrick Tang breakup!
19 Aug – Jack Hui recently clarified once and for all rumours of him being the third party in Katy Kung's previous relationship with singer Patrick Tang.
As reported on Mingpao, the "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold" actor, who spoke about the supposed love triangle that occurred in 2012, stated that he had already explained himself clearly at the time, but that nobody believed him.
"I didn't come between them. I was worried at the time, because I didn't understand why people keep saying it was me like it was true when I didn't do it. But I have learned to be cautious with my words since then," he said.
Meanwhile, when talking about his current love life, Jack said that he would like to keep such a thing private.
"I need to protect myself. I hope everyone will focus on my work and not my love life," he said.
Katy and Patrick ended their two-year romance in 2012, following rumours that the actress had cheated on him with Jack, who was her "Living Up" co-host at the time. At the same time, Patrick was also accused of seeing other women behind her back.
