Jamie Oliver has quipped that his 13-year-old son might take over from him one day so he can retire.
The star has been a celebrity chef in the limelight for more than 20 years and Buddy, one of his five children with wife Jools, is now following in his footsteps and is an aspiring TV cook himself. The teenager now has a show called Cooking Buddies, which sees him showing off his culinary skills.
And it seems the proud dad thinks that his son Buddy could take his place one day.

He opened up on The One Show on Thursday (20 June), after hosts Alex Jones and Vernon Kay mentioned how Buddy enjoyed cooking. "For a while he has done Cooking Buddies," said the star.
"He's done one with CBBC - he’s doing this thing where kids get to swap their hobbies and he swaps recipes and it is just a really nice show trying to get kids to cook and to love food... Maybe he will take over from me one day and I can retire!" he added.
The couple have five children together - Poppy, 22, Daisy, 21, Petal Blossom, 15, Buddy and River Rocket, seven. And Jones asked whether they all had his skills in the kitchen.
"I have tried to brainwash them all but most of them… yeah… the middle one is 15 so we will see about that one," the chef replied. "But yes. I have treated them all the same and they are quite confident."
Jamie Oliver has said Buddy will 'earn his trade'
Many children of celebrities who embark on showbiz careers themselves are dubbed "nepo babies", with the suggestion being that they benefit from nepotism because of their famous mum or dad. But Jamie has previously made it clear that if Buddy does go down the same path as him, he will "earn his trade".
He told MailOnline: "When I ran the restaurant Fifteen, where most of our young people were unemployed, from prison or troubled backgrounds.
“We put these kids in front of amazing farmers and artisans, fishermen and producers, that’s what changes you and I’d definitely do that with Buddy, if he wanted to go down that route. He would earn his trade for sure.”
