Jean Garcia reunites with Tonton Gutierrez in new drama
28 Jun – Jean Garcia got fans feeling nostalgic recently when she shared a photo of her with former co-star Tonton Gutierrez.
As reported on PEP, the actress who has begun filming her new drama with the actor, shared a photo of her with Gutierrez before their photo-shoot writing, "My Eduardo is now my Emil - Claudia is now Eloise".
Claudia was the name of her antagonistic character in the hit 2000 drama, "Pangako Sa 'Yo", which she starred alongside Gutierrez, who played the role of her unwilling husband, Eduardo Buenavista.
The aforementioned drama also helped shoot its two lead stars Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa into stardom and spark the EchoTin tandem craze in Southeast Asia.
Garcia and Gutierrez are now reunited in the roles of Eloise and Emil in the upcoming GMA drama, "Ika-5 na Utos", which has recently begun filming.
The upcoming series, which is a spin-off of the "Ika-6 na Utos" franchise that starred Sunshine Dizon in 2016, will also star Gelli de Belen and niece Inah, Valerie Concepcion, Jake Vargas, and Jeric Gonzales.
The drama is set to air sometime this year.
