Jennifer Lopez "Seems Fine" Amid Looming Divorce Rumors
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spending much of the summer apart amid her solo trip to Europe with friends + her trip to the Hamptons for July 4th. But apparently J.Lo's staying unbothered—or, as a source put it to People, "She seems fine."
And despite the prolonged time apart (and the fact that they're no longer living together...) it should be noted that both Ben and J.Lo have been wearing their wedding rings. In fact, here's J.Lo rocking hers during a cute lil' July 4th photoshoot:
Buuuut despite the rings, Page Six reports that Bennifer’s marriage has been done for “months” and that they've been “apart” since March. That said, neither Ben nor Jen have made moves make their separation official—though a source tells the Daily Mail that J.Lo's family wants her to hurry up and file for divorce.
"Jennifer's mom told her, 'Cut your losses and move on to avoid getting any deeper in this mess,'" a source told the outlet. "She told her that she's wasted years believing that Ben was some kind of knight in shining armor. He was not the person she built him up to be. It's taken too much of a toll on her and because of this she has lost sight of who she is and what she stands for."
The insider notes that "It's upsetting to her family and Jennifer that Ben cannot see there is a woman who is loved by millions that will love him eternally–but he would rather throw in the towel than actually just try to fix things."
