Jessica Chastain Slips on Slingback Heels With Silver Shift Dress for ‘The Knife’ Tribeca Premiere

Jessica Chastain made a fashion statement in a pair of patent leather slingback heels on June 9 to go with a shimmering silver shift dress at the premiere of “The Knife” during the 2024 Tribeca Festival.
“The Knife” is the directorial debut of Nnamdi Asomugha, who also stars in the drama. The premiere was attended by additional stars including Kerry Washington, who is married to Asomugha.
Chastain wore a short, loose-fitting dress with a collar and deep, narrow V-neck. The shift-style dress had short sleeves and silver sequins, creating a subtle stripe effect. The dress fell just above her knees.
While she opted for minimal accessories, Chastain’s slingback pumps were an eye-catching part of the ensemble. The actress’s glossy heels featured a sharp toe and a narrow heel standing a few inches tall. The thin strap around her heel was embellished with silver detailing which drew parallels to the color palette of her sparkling dress.
Chastain is known to dress to impress, having worn classic black pumps while promoting her film “Memory” last year. She also wore Christian Louboutin black pumps while on “Jimmy Fallon” in December. She opted for a bold print when she appeared on the “Today” show wearing black heels with white polka dots.
Elsewhere at Tribeca this year, Chelsea Clinton appeared wearing nude pumps at the premiere of “The Crane’s Call”; Dakota Fanning wore heeled black sandals to the premiere of “Mastermind: To Think Like a Killer”; and Gayle King opted for studded blue sandals for the festival’s opening night.
