Kristen Hayes, the widow of late NHL star Jimmy Hayes, is finding happiness again three years after his tragic death.

Over Memorial Day Weekend, Kristen remarried and joyously shared photos of her wedding to new husband Evan Crosby, a fellow widower.

Crosby lost his wife Lindsay in 2018 following complications from the birth of their third child.

Kristen, who is expecting a baby with Crosby in the next few weeks, shared photos from the May 26 ceremony — held at Woods Hill Pier 4 in Boston, Mass. — of them and their combined five children.

“'There’s all kinds of love in this world, but never the same love twice' 5.26.24 married my best friend 🤎," she captioned the Instagram post.

Kristen continued, "Ev and I followed our hearts, wanting to be married before the baby arrives, and before we move our crew this summer. In 17 short days we pulled together the most special, intimate, emotional and joyful celebration."

Concluding her caption, Hayes said she and Crosby are "overwhelmed with gratitude for the love that filled the room and our hearts that night," and added, "God is Good."

Kristen has two sons, Mac and Beau, from her marriage to the late hockey player, and Crosby has three children, daughters Finlay and Sigrid, and son Nolan, with his late wife Lindsay.

Jimmy tragically died in his Massachusetts home in August 2021, just three months after Beau was born. It was later confirmed that Jimmy died with fentanyl and cocaine in his system.

In a statement following Jimmy's death, Kristen said, "Although we are shocked and heartbroken beyond words, I choose to remember my husband, and the boys' father, through the enormous love and joy that he brought us and so many others."

"This battle does not define him, and I will still tell my boys every day to be like Jimmy. Jimmy touched so many lives while he was here by living so generously and open heartedly, and I hope his story can continue to make a positive impact, especially for anyone who is struggling with the grips of substance abuse," she continued.
