JLL appoints new Asia Pacific director of international capital to strengthen cross-border investments

JLL has announced the appointment of Tim Graham as the new senior director of international capital at JLL Asia Pacific. He will be based in Singapore and focus on managing cross-border investors in the region. He reports to Stuart Crow, head of Asia Pacific capital markets.

Graham joined JLL in 2001 where he worked in the city of London’s investment team. He worked at LaSalle Investment Management before returning to JLL in 2006. He has been working in London for 11 years and developed close working relationships with global investors. His responsibilities included managing private equity funds, institutional investors, and high net worth clients. He has a proven track record in building strong links across client platforms. Graham received a first class honours degree in Land Management from the University of Reading, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

In his new role, Graham will leverage his network and experience in London to connect outbound capital between Europe and the Asia Pacific. He will work closely with JLL’s funds advisory, debt, and major transactions teams across the region. “His extensive experience in dealing with high-profile investors will bring great cross-border opportunities for our clients in Asia and Europe”, says Crow.

There is growing demand for cross-border investment, and JLL is expanding its team to provide a broader range of services, including strategic advice on debt and corporate finance. This will bring together investment banking skills with commercial property expertise, Crow adds. The Asia Pacific received a record-breaking real estate investment of US$52 billion in 4Q2017, according to JLL’s latest Global Capital Flows report.
