Joe Alwyn Steps Out at Fashion Show in Milan After Breaking Silence About Taylor Swift Split

Joe Alwyn is stepping out — in style!

The actor, 33, attended a Prada fashion show highlighting the brand's Spring/Summer 2025 collection in Italy on Sunday, June 16.

For the daytime occasion, Alwyn wore a purple turtleneck sweater under a double-breasted black jacket, which he paired with blue jeans.

The Kinds of Kindness star accessorized his look with black shoes and a pair of black sunglasses.

Alwyn's appearance in Milan takes place a day after he broke his silence about his split from ex Taylor Swift in an interview with The Sunday Times Style. (PEOPLE confirmed that the pair broke up in April 2023 after six years of dating.)

Reflecting on his breakup from Swift, 34, Alwyn told the publication, "What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in.”

“So you have something very real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space: tabloids, social media, press, where it is then dissected, speculated on, pulled out of shape beyond recognition," he continued. "And the truth is, to that last point, there is always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said. I have made my peace with that.”

Alwyn noted that he and the pop star "mutually" decided to "keep the more private details of our relationship private," adding, "It was never something to commodify and I see no reason to change that now."

Alywn also told the Times that he is currently doing well in all aspects of his life.

"I feel fortunate to be in a really great place in my life, professionally and personally,” he said. “I feel really good.”

As for his romantic life, Alwyn remained mum on whether or not he is seeing anyone new, stating, "I’m sure you can appreciate, given the level of noise and scrutiny about my past relationship, why I wouldn’t want to just open the door to things like that right now."

Following her split from Alwyn, Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs football player Travis Kelce.
