Juno Mak denies "Rashomon" is about Gillian Chung

1 Aug - Hong Kong singer-turned-director Juno Mak has recently denied rumours saying that his new single with Kay Tse, "Rashomon", is about ex-girlfriend, Gillian Chung.

According to Mingpao News, the song, written by Wyman Wong and composed by Ronald Ng, has been a hit since it was released, hitting the number one spots on various charts.

Fans who listened to the sad lyrics quickly jumped to conclusion that it was about Juno's actual feelings about his failed relationship with Gillian.

However, the singer had since denied the rumours, saying that the lyrics were created by Wyman Wong and have nothing to do with him.

Juno also commended his singing partner Kay Tse for a job well done, saying, "Kay sang very well and we had a good cooperation. She is definitely the best."

When asked whether he has plans to collaborate with Gillian in the future, Juno admitted that he has little to no contact with the Twins member.
