Justin Lee sentenced to 79 years of prison

3 Sep – It was revealed that infamous Taiwanese heir Justin Lee has been sentenced to a 79 years and 7 months imprisonment.

According to CRI News, the Taiwanese socialite, who was arrested back in 2012 after refusing to cooperate with the police despite the discovery of explicit video files on his computer and mobile phone, was charged for drug raping and illegally filming sex with at least 17 women.

The verdict read that Justin had brought home 14 women from nightclubs and other places while they were drunk or unconscious, and sexually assaulted them while filming the act.

However, the Taiwan's High Court stated that Justin will only need to serve 30 years in prison, as it is the longest length for a fixed-term imprisonment according to the local law.

He was also required to pay a total of NTD 27.75 million (approximately USD 93,000) in damage to the victims.

Meanwhile, Justin's lawyer said that the ruling has shocked his client's family and that they will be filing an appeal at the Supreme Court.

Justin Lee is the son of former Director of Taiwan's Yuanta Financial Holding, Lee Yue-tsang.
