Harry Kane admits he hates being judged on his Tottenham goals ahead of Arsenal clash

Another international break is over and the Premier League returns on Saturday when Gameweek 12 kicks off with Tottenham’s trip to Arsenal. Are you a fantasy football manager preparing for the weekend? If so, this is my advice to you.

Keep Kane

With Harry Kane having pulled out of the latest England squad due to an injury, many fantasy managers might be fearing the worse regarding his fitness ahead of Saturday’s trip to Arsenal. But it would be reckless give up on Kane at this point.

Mauricio Pochettino has already made it clear that his star striker will be fit to face Arsenal. Furthermore, Kane has a stunning record against the Gunners, scoring six goals in five Premier League North London Derbies.

Lump on Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku has not scored in his last four Premier League games. Three of those matches were against fellow members of the Big Six – Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea – leading some pundits to label the Belgian as a flat track bully.

While those allegations may be slightly harsh, it is certainly fair to say that Lukaku is much more effective against the smaller clubs. In eight games against teams outside of the big six, Lukaku has provided seven league goals and two assists for United.

Next up for United? Newcastle at home this weekend, followed by games against Brighton and Watford. It’s Romelu’s time to shine!

Take a punt on Palace

Crystal Palace are starting to show signs of improvement under Roy Hodgson and now looks like a great time to invest in the Eagles, who have a run of eight winnable fixtures.

Hodgson’s remains without a fully-fit senior striker so will likely continue to use Wilfried Zaha (£17) and Andros Townsend (£14) as his most attacking players. Both are registered as midfielders, allowing you to fill your team with extra goalscoring power.
