Kenny Wong reports drug scandal at his restaurant

26 Nov – It was reported that the restaurant owned by Kenny Wong, husband of former Miss Hong Kong participant Suki Chui, is under police investigation for a drug scandal involving five celebrities.

According to Popular Asians website, in 2011, five celebrities including a married artiste and a singer were found abusing drugs inside a VIP room at the said restaurant and was unintentionally recorded on the restaurant's security cameras.

It was reported that Kenny himself admitted that he was offered HKD 200,000 to retrieve the incriminating evidence. However, the police was quick to repossess the clip and will be investigating the five celebrities involved in the case.

According to Kenny, a staff of his restaurant had alerted him of the illegal activities taking place in the restaurant after it occurred two days later. Nonetheless, the staff was uncertain if the five suspects were taking drugs or if it was just pills to help them recover from their drunken state.

Despite refusing to reveal who the five celebrities are on grounds of privacy and confidentiality due to police involvement, Kenny was quoted saying, "If any patrons are found to be taking drugs at my restaurant, we will call the police immediately."
