S.Korea says military to step up monitoring of N.Korea

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's defense ministry said on Wednesday that the country's armed forces are stepping up their monitoring of North Korea after the isolated country said it successfully conducted a test of a miniaturised nuclear device. Separately, South Korea's Yonhap News agency said President Park Geun-hye will preside over a national security council meeting at 0430 GMT.
