Kylie Minogue and Queen+Adam Lambert have been unveiled as the headline acts for the 2016 Singapore Grand Prix, to be held from 16 to 18 September.

Minogue will headline the Friday show at the Padang Stage (16 September), while Queen+Adam Lambert will perform on Saturday (17 September). The Sunday headline act has yet to be announced.

KC and The Sunshine Band, Bastille and Pentatonix are also among the music lineup who will perform at the race this year.

Organisers also said Monday (6 June) that they have tweaked the stage layout this year to improve the concert experience.

“Overall, the patrons furthest from stage will be much closer than in past years. We will also install additional superscreens on the far right and left of the stage to give a wider viewing opportunity for races and concerts which will take the concert experience all the way into the Esplanade Park,”said Mr. Michael Roche, Executive Director of Singapore GP.

Performance dates

Kicking off the concert at the Village Stage on 16 September, KC and the Sunshine Band will perform before the Formula One Practice 2 session. They will also perform at the Esplanade Outdoor Theater on 17 September before the Formula One qualifying session.

Indie-rock band Bastille will join Queen+Adam Lambert at the Padang Stage on 17 September with a performance before the Formula One qualifying session.

Award-winning a cappella group Pentatonix will perform on Saturday (18 September) at the Village Stage, before the Formula One Qualifying session and at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre on Sunday (19 September).
