Latest SpaceX Launch Sends Telstar 19V Communications Satellite Into Orbit

SpaceX carried out its thirteenth launch of 2018 on July 22, sending the Telstar 19V communications satellite into orbit on board a Falcon 9 rocket.

This livestreamed footage shows the launch procedure. The rocket can be seen taking off around 15:00 into the video.

The Telstar 19V communications satellite, which belongs to the Canadian company Telesat, will provide increased radio coverage between northern Canada and South America, Spaceflight Insider reported. Credit: SpaceX via Storyful
