Leila de Lima wants Dawn Zulueta to play her
15 Apr - Senatorial candidate Leila de Lima already has an actress in mind who could play her in a hypothetical biopic about herself.
According to Bandera News, the former Secretary of Justice revealed in an interview recently that "Walang Hanggan" star Dawn Zulueta would be the perfect star to play her, and that the film would be aptly titled "The Lady Justice".
"That's the story of my life, you know, fighting for justice. I want the film to focus on my achievement. My growth and what I have done. Also how I was raised by my parents and how I did my job," she said.
And if there is a need for a romance plot, the leading man could be Zulueta's onscreen partner, Richard Gomez.
"But I don't want to focus on the love story," she added.
Aside from the two stars, de Lima admitted that she is also a fan of Cesar Montano and Robin Padilla – the latter whom she praised for the recent effort in Kidapawan.
