It is thought that the star has now been released from hospital and the incident is not expected to have an impact on the filming schedule.

Wright is reprising the role of Shuri in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will also star Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya and Danai Gurira.

The movie is due to be unveiled in the summer of 2022, two years after the death of Chadwick Boseman, the star of the first film.

The actor – who played T’Challa/Black Panther in the 2018 movie - passed away in August 2020 after a battle with colon cancer.
