I bought an LG TV way back in 2016, and I still love it. The picture is bright and colorful, I get great audio even without a soundbar and webOS is so fun and easy to use. If you have to buy a new television I'll always recommend one from LG, which is why it's so great that Amazon is having an absolutely killer sale on Alexa-enabled LG sets.

You can save almost 30 percent on select models, which translates to hundreds — yes, hundreds — of dollars in savings. And with events like the World Cup coming up, now's the time to pounce. So don't dilly dally, as this sale is only while supplies last, and many sets are already low on stock.

If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free two-day shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)

We love the look of this TV, but not as much as shoppers who bought it love the whole kit and caboodle. One non-tech-savvy shopper reports, "This TV is awesome, I really love the LG interface with the mouse pointer usage, and cable organization options on the back of the TV are pretty sweet."

And it's this newbie's "first time purchasing a high quality TV. I usually get the least expensive model I can find so this was the first time to choose a higher quality TV. I am impressed. It looks 3D and much sharper than my other TVs."

"This set is a bit more expensive than some of the others, but it has some features that I wanted that lesser models don't offer and, as they say, you get what you pay for," says a shopper. "And unless you are a videophile, paying extra to move to an OLED set just isn't worth it, particularly as OLEDs have the possibility down the road of suffering screen 'burn in,' which I experienced first hand many years ago on a plasma set we had, and I really don't want to have that problem again, particularly for what OLEDs cost."

And right now you can save a whopping $403 on this set, bringing the price down to $997. Snap it up while supplies last!

If you were curious about getting an OLED TV for its whiter whites and blacker blacks, then you might want to take a look at the G1 series that's also on sale. It's a nice-sized 65 inches, and film lovers like this reviewer love the image quality: "Amazing picture — crystal clear with vibrant colors and deep, deep blacks. Disney and Pixar animated films are particularly gorgeous and black and white films like Belfast look stunning."

And, as this pleased shopper attests, "Love the picture quality, it's insanely good, the best in the market or tied with Sony's premium tier. You can't go wrong with the LG G1 series except the price is high." Lucky thing it's on sale now!

Still not convinced? Take it from this happy husband: "After playing with the settings a little, the color and graphics are so immersive! The sound is also really good, it sounded like a theater only on 10. Was pretty loud, but the way the sound was coming from the TV gave the home theater feel by itself...I've also loaded Assassin's Creed Valhalla up on my PS5, and wow! The detail and graphics look absolutely stunning compared to my other TV! The price is a hard thing to overcome, but after doing research and talking to a few different electronic geeks. I kept coming back to this TV, and definitely say so far it was worth it! Even the wife was happy with it!"

Even with the sale this stellar set's not cheap — but the $250 discount should make it a lot easier to pull the trigger.
