Linda Chung announces marriage
25 Feb - In a surprising turn of events, Linda Chung recently confirmed the ongoing rumours about an upcoming wedding, adding another bombshell - that she is already married since late last year.
As reported on HK Channel, the actress recently made an announcement about her status, saying that she met her husband, Vancouver-based chiropractor Jeremy, at the beginning of last year.
"We got to know each other and realised that we both share the same faith and values, and never run out of things to talk about," said Linda.
Linda revealed that Jeremy proposed to her last autumn, and they registered their marriage at the end of 2015, witnessed by their respective parents. The couple is set to hold their wedding banquet on 27 February in Linda's hometown in Canada.
As for pregnancy rumours, the actress said, "I will not be responding to them. Please allow me to preserve some space. I will share any good news with everybody at an appropriate time."
She also thanked good friends Leanne Li, Eliza Sam, Grace Wong and Christine Kuo for keeping her secret safe, as well as to TVB Executive Virginia Lok, who has been helping her keep her relationship under wraps.
It was reported that 31-year-old Linda met 41-year-old Jeremy, who is also the nephew of TVB Chairman Norman Leung, through her elder sister.
