Liza Wang waits for Damian Lau
7 May - Determined to work with Damian Lau again, TVB actress Liza Wang revealed that she has asked the production team to wait for his schedule to open up before filming starts.
According to HK Headlines, the actress, who worked with the actor in "Yesterday's Glitter" (1980) and "The Awakening Story" (2001) previously, stated that it took them quite a while from one series to another.
"We waited for 20 years before working together again in "The Awakening Story", and 15 more years have gone by before we meet again in "Limelight Years," said Liza.
"Damian initially couldn't make it because his schedule was quite hectic. So I insisted on waiting several months before we begin filming," she added, and praised Damian as a good actor.
Meanwhile, when asked if she will soon retire from TVB like veteran actress Louise Lee, the 67-year-old stated, "I don't have that kind of plan in the near future. My passion for acting is still strong."
