Louisa Mak: I didn't do well enough!

26 Jan - Miss Hong Kong 2015 Louisa Mak has admitted to being disappointed for not being able to earn a better spot in the recently held Miss Chinese International pageant, but stated that she accepted the overall result, Oriental Daily reported.

Although Hong Kong has always done well at the Miss Chinese International pageant, this time around, its representative, Louisa Mak, failed to make it into the top five - having been eliminated during the early round of the competition.

When asked about her mediocre performance in the competition, Louisa responded, "It was a fair result. There were many things that I didn't do well enough. I have to go home and watch the recording again."

Louisa also stated that Miss Chinese International Pageant was not the same with the previous pageant, and that the standard for judging beauty was also different.

Last year, the 23-year-old attracted attention even from the first day of her pageant entry after it was revealed that the Cambridge law student once achieved a perfect 10-As in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examinations (HKCEE).
