The couple already have son Freddie George together, with Nathan recently praising how their little boy has adapted to being a brother.

"Words can't describe how proud I am of this boy, turning into such a great big bro already, completely smitten with his sister, caring and helping his mummy out," he wrote. "Freddie [you're] my best mate and you always will be."

Nathan also praised his wife for her delivery of their daughter, calling her a "hero".

"Just want to say one thing – us blokes could never in a million years go through what women do, so every woman that gives birth, hats off to you, because I don't think us geezers have got the pain threshold," he wrote.

"Can't wait to spend our lives together!!! Cara, you're a legend , delivered our baby safe and sound!!! What a trooper you are!!! Hats off to all the pregnant women, I salute you.

"I would like to thank all the staff and midwives at Darenth Valley Hospital can't thank you guys enough ! You're all unsung heroes."
