Martin Lewis has taken aim at "outrageous" and "sexist" headlines about his wife Lara Lewington.

The Money Saving expert, 52, was speaking on Good Morning Britain as a presenter when he hit out at newspapers for always referring to him when talking about Lewington, who he has been married to since 2009.

It all come about because Lorraine Kelly had introduced Lewington as one of her guests on her show, calling her the "AI agony aunt", while dialling into Good Morning Britain to let audiences know what was coming up on her daytime slot. The outburst come about as Kelly introduced Lewington as a guest on her show and Reid was immediately interested to find out more. She asked: "Did you say Lara Lewington is on the show?"
