Matthew McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alves McConaughey was spotted attending Hermes’ women’s fall 2024 show on Thursday in New York. Vida McConaughey, the model’s 14-year-old daughter, also attended the show.
For her romp in the city, Camila donned a pair of black strappy sandal heels, likely from Hermes. The sleek and sophisticated footwear was crafted of black leather uppers and came equipped with multiple sturdy straps that crossed overtop the model’s toes and around her ankles.
Additionally, the style featured silver metal lock closures, square open toes and 2—to 3-inch stiletto heels. Thanks to the oversized Kelly buckle adorning both styles, the summery can be likened to Hermes’ Innocente slingback. The silver hardware offers the silhouette a grungy touch, containing her daughter Vida’s shoe choices entirely.
The 14-year-old wore simple ballet flats in a black hue to match her mother’s footwear. The style, also likely from Hermes, featured squared-off toes, shiny leather uppers and adjustable buckle closures. The straps were extremely reminiscent of a classic Mary Jane silhouette.
Ballet flats have become synonymous with “it-girl” style. Seen on top stars like Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Katie Holmes, the ballet flat is casual and preppy. The style is available from a multitude of brands in a slew of styles from zebra-printed to studded. There’s truly something for everyone.
Both mother and daughter twinned when it came down to their outfits, opting for striking all-red looks. Like their shoe choices, Camila’s styling was more mature, while Vida’s outfit was more youthful. Camila’s look consisted of a red leather set with a textural print.
The top featured a cropped top with a scalloped hem and a high-waisted maxi skirt that was belted, offering dimension. Vida’s outfit was like an altered version of her mother’s own, consisting of a ribbed red two-piece with a zip-up long-sleeve crop top and matching high-waisted mini skirt.
