Mega EDM Festival Djarkata Warehouse Project Announces Full Line-Up, Plus We Recommend Top Acts To Catch
It seems that the Djarkata Warehouse Project (DWP) is all set on course to become the staple, go-to music festival for all EDM lovers in the South East Asia region.
The EDM festival has announced a full line-up consisting of British drum & bass stalwarts Rudimental, grammy-winning producer ZEDD, progressive house giant Hardwell, electro house prodigy Martin Garrix, trap wunderkind DJ Snake, and alternative hip-hop DJ Tokimonsta, deep house act Lost Frequencies, and Skrillex OSWLA signing affiliate Valentino Khan, and will be set at the Jiexpo Kemayoran Convention Center on December 9th and 10th.
The two-day festival will also see the likes of acts such as KSHMR, Snakehips, Duke Dumont, Hot Since 82, W&W, Alan Walker, as well as various performing artists rounding up the line-up.
The 2016 Djarkata Warehouse Project edition follows up its highly successful predecessor in 2015, which saw acts like Jack Ü, Major Lazer, Kaskade, and Tiesto playing to a crowd of 80,000 attendees over two days.

DJ Snake
It has been a smooth-sailing year for the France-based DJ, with the trap lothario producing 2015’s most streamed song on Spotify in the form of massive earworm “Lean On”, as well as this year’s “Let Me Love You” – a sleek banger in collaboration with Justin Bieber. Do watch out for DJ Snake’s intense, fist-pumping live sets though. From what we saw at last year’s ZoukOut 2015 and this year’s Ultra Singapore 2016, be ready for a world peppered with plenty of mind-blowing trap, hip-hop, dubstep, and hardstyle remixes.
Rudimental
This one’s a huge treat for Drum and Bass bassheads. The last time we’ve seen d’n’b acts of this scale in the region were The Prodigy and Pendulum back in 2013 – which we have to say, has been quite some time ago. Largely known for their live, energetic and soulful performances, Rudimental incorporates a hodgepot of soul, funk, drum and bass, jungle and substantiates it into a thick, gooey eargasm. We’re really excited to see what the revered d’n’b collective has in store for us this year.
Valentino Khan
A relative newcomer to the EDM scene, Khan has been making waves since being signed by Skrillex’s label OWSLA. Khan’s debut single, “Deep Down Low” was named the “most played track by DJs” in 2015, and considering the commercial and critical reception to it, we’re not surprised. Deep Down Low is track that draws on the likes of moombahton artists like Dillion Francis, Angger Dimas, and Major Lazer. A truly absolute banger, we’re stoked to see what the moustachioed genius has to bring to the table at DWP.
Tokimonsta
We’ve been quite a fan of Tokimonsta for some time now, having caught real-life moniker Jennifer Lee’s performance early last year. The Los Angeles native is almost becoming a semi-regular fixture in the Singapore night life scene, with the DJ-producer having performed a solo show earlier this year, at Super 0’s openair last year, and the upcoming ZoukOut 2016. Do watch out for her cool, eclectic, left-leaning taste of electronica, instrumental hip-hop, and experimental ambient music.
