As the 2020 election nears, many public figures are encouraging their fans and followers to uses their voices and get out the vote. The Duchess of Sussex is no exception, recently telling Marie Clare the reasons why she votes.

"I know what it's like to have a voice, and also what it's like to feel voiceless," the Duchess said. "I also know that so many men and women have put their lives on the line for us to be heard. And that opportunity, that fundamental right, is in our ability to exercise our right to vote and to make all of our voices heard."

Now, one of Meghan's favorite companies is taking the Duchess's advice. Birdies, known for their comfortable flats and slides, just launched their new, limited-edition "Vote Collection." The line includes five pairs of the brand's popular Starling flat, each painted with a different design related to voting or women's empowerment. Most importantly, Birdies partnered with nonprofit Step Up for the collection, donating $10,000 to support the charity's work educating and empowering young women and girls.

As for the shoes' designs, Birdies collaborated with creative studio Leftys Right Mind to creative five unique options, each with symbols representing voting and women's rights. One pair has the word "VOTE" emblazoned across a pair of black loafers. Another features "Words of Strength," with phrases like "Equality" and "I'm a Voter" painted on tan flats. The "Yellow Rose" design depicts a suffragette symbol from 1920.
