Moana 2's trailer has set a huge new record for Disney following its debut.
The preview of the anticipated animated sequel premiered this week, confirming that fan-favourite characters Heihei and Pua will be back.
Disney has now revealed in the day since it dropped, the clip has become the company's biggest animated trailer launch ever, taking in 178 million views in 24 hours.

That's ahead Inside Out 2's 157 million, Frozen 2's 116 million and Incredibles 2's 113 million.
The 2016 original movie was also the most-streamed movie across all of Disney's platforms last year, so it seems the sequel certainly has a lot of excitement behind it.
Moana 2 will follow the titular heroine as she adventures into long-lost waters for a new adventure, journeying alongside a crew of unlikely companions.
"After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced," the synopsis adds.

The project was originally set as a TV show, though Disney confirmed earlier this year that it had been recalibrated into a movie after impressing company bosses.
Original star Auli'i Cravalho will be back as the titular character, while Dwayne Johnson will also return as Maui.
Dave Derrick Jr in on board as director and Jason Hand as co-director, with new songs by Abigail Barlow, Emily Bear, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa'i.
As well as the sequel, a live-action adaptation of the first movie is in the pipeline, with production due to commence this autumn ahead of a July 2026 release.
Moana 2 is released in US cinemas on November 27 and in UK cinemas on November 29, while Moana is available to stream on Disney+.
