NBA: Jazz center Gobert fined $25,000

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was fined $25,000 for making physical contact with a game official, the NBA announced Sunday. The incident occurred with 5:19 remaining in the third quarter of Utah's 109-95 win over the Bucks at Milwaukee on Friday, when Gobert was whistled for a foul on Giannis Antetokounmpo. Video replay shows the French big man -- whose dominant defense has earned him the nickname the Stifle Tower -- touching the arm of an official while disputing the call. Gobert scored 15 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in the game against the Bucks. The 24-year-old seven-footer is averaging 13.0 points and 12.7 rebounds in 2016-17, his fourth season with the Jazz.
