In this week’s installment of “Hot Guys Who Cook,” we find out that both Peter Davis and Tom Price didn’t come to cooking easily. They were forced to learn the skill because they would starve otherwise!
“To be honest, I’m not really fan of cooking,” reveals Tom in this exclusive, behind-the-scenes clip from the show. I prefer to be cooked for. If anyone out there wants to cook for me… Sweet!”
As a “poor, overseas student in Sydney,” says the Hong Kong-born model, “I couldn’t afford to eat out. So I basically forced myself to learn to cook, so I could save money.”
Peter Davis mirrors this very phenomenon as a student living in England. “If you’re studying, you can’t afford to go to a restaurant.”
Peter began to pick up his cooking mojo also from “my Mum. Then I went on to experiment with things that seemed like they could go together… Nothing too crazy from me – just tasty!”
He know cooks “once a week if permitted. Or even more, but life is a little crazy sometimes without a routine, so I just sample good food where ever I'm whenever I'm hungry!”
Tom has an additional “ingredient” that makes cooking a less stressful affair. “One thing I must have when cooking though, is music,” he says. “This just makes the process more bearable and enjoyable. Some people enjoy the process of cooking. Not me. I have never really strived to become a great cook and therefore I would rate my culinary ability to be pretty low. I would say 5/10. Probably less!”
