Neymar breaks up with girlfriend Bruna again

Barcelona and Brazil forward Neymar has been dealing with tragic news in his personal life - a second breakup with his long-term girlfriend, actress Bruna Marquezine.

After separating for a while last year, the two got back together for the World Cup and were seen holidaying in Ibiza, Spain, recently while on a summer break.

The young actress spoke about the end of her relationship with the Blaugrana striker on Brazilian TV, adding that the pair will remain friends for now.

She was rumoured to be jealous by the female attention Neymar often received by fans in Barcelona and at home in Brazil.

"We have a lot of affection for one another. Love, admiration, respect between us... will be forever," the 19-year-old Marquezine said.

A tearful Bruna was seen rushing to Neymar's side at the World Cup in June, after he fractured his vertebra during his team's quarterfinal win over Colombia.

Many sources have claimed that the breakup was caused by jealousy and by the refusal of Neymar to marry her in the short-term. The couple's long-distance situation also deeply affected their relationship, with the striker choosing to focus on his career at the Spanish giants.

In another interview, Bruna added that her biggest dream was to be a mother of twins, and to continue her career as an actress.

"I will continue working, but I will with my husband and be a mother of twins. My biggest dream is to be a mother," she said.

Neymar's compatriot Philippe Coutinho, however, is enjoying better luck on the relationship front.

As Liverpool emerged triumphant on the opening weekend of the Premiership season after a 2-1 win over Southampton, it was their glossy girlfriends who garnered more attention.

Anfield was greeted by glittery studs and stilettos courtesy of the WAGS, who arrived just in time to support their husbands and boyfriends for the new season.

Aine Coutinho, 22, was also out to support her husband, the Brazilian attacking midfielder who has been touted as a future star after dazzling performances at the club.

He made 33 appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool last season, and scored 5 goals in total.

Having met and fallen in love with his wife at a young age, 22-year-old Philippe credits Aine, whom he married in 2012, for his "peace of mind" and sense of belief in himself.

It was also a big day for England national Adam Lallana, who arrived at Anfield with his wife Emily Jubb.

Lallana completed a £25m move from Southampton during the summer, after long periods of bidding from Liverpool. However, his injury means that he will sit out the start of the season with the Reds.

The former Southampton captain, who fathers their one-year-old son Arthur, married his girlfriend of seven years in a £500 ($1040) wedding at a Register Office in Dorset on Christmas Eve.

Adam took measures to marry his 26-year-old fiancee six months early to avoid clashing with the World Cup.

Jubb also recently gave birth to the couple's second baby boy.
