Nigma Galaxy unveiled on Tuesday (9 November) their Southeast Asian VALORANT roster, comprised of Filipino players Carlo "Karl" Ocampo, Ronard "Yohann" Tecson, and Franz "Astro" Del Rosario as well as Vietnamese player Ngô "crazyguy" Công Anh.

Karl, Yohann, and Astro are from the original roster fielded by Galaxy Racer prior to the merger between Team Nigma and Galaxy Racer that formed Nigma Galaxy back in September.

That team parted ways with Enrico "Ching" Perez and Emmanuel "Emman" Morales in October to pave the way for crazyguy's entry into the roster.

Crazyguy has been a stalwart of the Vietnamese FPS scene, having represented the country in multiple international teams prior to his switch to VALORANT.

Prior to joining Nigma Galaxy, crazyguy dominated the Vietnamese VALORANT scene in Team Big BAAM (also formerly known as Steal Your Glory) and helped the team finish in the Top 6 of the 2021 VALORANT Champions Tour SEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs back in August.

“After one year playing with my brothers at Big BAAM, I decided that I want to go further. So I was looking for a new team that has the same vision as me. There were a lot of SEA/VN teams who showed interest in bringing me in. But in the end, I chose Nigma Galaxy Racer to be my new team," said crazyguy in an interview with valo2asia.

He said that "Nigma Galaxy Racer " was a big org that he had watched "for a long time", adding that he loved "the way they treat, support all the players", and that his target was the VALORANT Champions Tour next year.

With only four players formally in their roster, Nigma Galaxy rounded out the team with Singaporean player Sha “ZesBeeW” Mohtar, who is on a temporary loan from Team SMG.

ZesBeeW will be standing-in for Nigma Galaxy in the ongoing Mineski VxV 2021 Invitational Playoffs, though the team has yet to reveal whether the Singaporean player will be staying with them beyond the duration of the tournament.
