No cognizable offence against SRK; actor gets a clean chit in the Wankhede brawl case

In the year 2012, Shah Rukh Khan was indulged in a brawl with the security guard at Wankhede stadium during the IPL match, where his team won the match. After the victory, the actor with his daughter Suhana and her friends were taking a victory walk and thanking the viewers who were present during the match. But, one security guard named Vikas Dalvi stopped them from entering the ground and asked them to leave.

This didn’t go too well with SRK and he got into a brawl with the security guard. The guard claimed that King Khan used abusive terms during the conversation and an immediate five-year ban was imposed on the actor. Now as per a popular media agency, the Mumbai police informed a metropolitan magistrate’s court that no cognisable offence was made out against him.

The police report stated, “After the investigation, it was found that no cognisable offence had taken place.” A local activist also had lodged a private complaint in the court regarding the incident and asked to take an action against SRK for using foul language against the security personnel.

The police had even claimed that they recorded the 50-year-old actor’s statement and he denied all the allegations reported against him.

The ban of five years imposed on him was lifted last year.
