The 41-year-old actress took to Instagram on Friday to share a video of herself holding baby Malcolm, who was born on Nov. 24, 2021. Munn, who shares her kid with boyfriend John Mulaney, added on-screen text to the heart-warming clip that reads, "My body hasn't snapped back, but it made this little guy, so I only have love for it."
Despite the "X-Men: Apocalypse" star's challenging postpartum life, she's still grateful for every moment. She captioned the post, "The postpartum road is rough, but it’s so worth it."
Munn's fans were quick to share their love and support for the "Predator" star, sharing their words of encouragement and inspiration.
"You are both so gorgeous," replied one person.
"You're doing amazing at this 'mom thing,' [Olivia Munn]. You're a natural," another said.
"Olivia, this is just perfect. The moment. The mama. The baby. Hang in there!!" someone else added.
"You are even more beautiful than ever!!!" one fan commented.
"Beautiful mama and baby," encouraged another. "Body will follow; your hearts are first."
Motherhood hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows for the former television host. In March, the "Buddy Games" star got candid about the ups and downs of being a new mother. She posted another video on Instagram explaining the difficulties of breastfeeding while having a low milk supply.
"I cried and cried. I felt like my body was failing. I worried I wouldn't bond with my baby. But then I said f*** it," the actress wrote after describing the various methods and devices she tried using.
"Breastfeeding is good, and so is formula," she continued. "To the mamas out there — do whatever you need to feed your baby and don't let anyone make you feel bad about it."
