SINGAPORE — It’s election season and with the polls due to be held on 10 July, “On The Mic” will be featuring interviews with prospective candidates from the various political parties.

For our first episode, I spoke to Jose Raymond, chairman of the Singapore People’s Party, to find out about his party’s preparations for the general election and his thoughts on contesting the Potong Pasir Single Member Constituency.

This interview was recorded prior to the dissolution of Singapore’s Parliament and announcement of the general election date.
