The Acer Switch Alpha 2-in-1 convertible notebook features a 12-inch, 10-point touchscreen display, with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. Its marquee feature is the Acer LiquidLoop cooling technology that does away with active cooling fans. The device is powered by an Intel “Skylake” Core i7-6500U mobile CPU, coupled with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. There’s a single USB 3.1 Gen 1, Type-C reversible port that will allow connectivity of up to 5Gbps for supported devices. The Acer Switch Alpha weighs about 1.2kg (with keyboard), and boasts of a battery life of up to 8 hours! This version of the Switch Alpha is priced at $1,898.
The Acer Predator G9-792 gaming laptop boasts of a 17.3” full HD IPS display, and is powered by the Intel Core i7-6700U mobile CPU. It has 16GB of system RAM, and its graphics chipset is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M, with 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM. Its storage options include a 128GB SSD and a 1TB HD. Priced at $2,898, instead of its usual price of $3.,098. Its free gift bundle includes a Predator Gaming 8 backpack, a Steelseries mouse, and mousepad.
The Acer Predator XB281HK is a 28-inch 4K gaming monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync support for smooth gaming. Supports HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, and has a built-in USB 3.0 hub with 4 downlink ports. Going for $999, down from $1,199 at this PC Show.
Aftershock
With custom liquid cooling, the Aftershock UltraCore is the ultimate bespoke desktop gaming PC, which is powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700K CPU, with 16GB of DDR4-2133 RAM. The graphics cards installed is none other than a pair of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, in SLI configuration. It features a 250GB Samsung 850 M.2 SSD, and a 2TB HDD for storage options. It's price tag is a whopping $4,488, and comes bundled with a Microsoft gaming mouse and mousepad, and the Rainbow Six Siege PC game title.
The Aftershoch SM-17 features a not-commonly-seen NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M graphics chipset, and its touted performance is close to that of the GTX 970M, and costing less. The gaming notebook is powered by an Intel Core i7-6700U CPU, with 16GB of DDR4 system memory. Its large 17.3
Based on the Intel Skull Canyon reference design the Aftershock Nano-S mini PC is powered by a 6th-gen Intel Core i7-6770HQ processor and Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580. It has 8GB RAM, a 250GB SSD, and supports Thunderbolt 3. Going for $1,412.
Alienware / Dell
The Alienware 15 is powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700U mobile CPU, with 16GB of system RAM. Its graphics chipset is driven by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M, with 3Gb of GDDR5 VRAM. Its storage options include an 256GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD. Its 15.6
The Dell Alienware 13 is a compact 13.3-inch gaming notebook that is equipped with an Intel Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. It also has a discrete mobile GPU in the form of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, and gaming-oriented connectivity features like a Killer networking module. It costs $2,199, and comes with a 1-year ProSupport warranty, and a 1-year subscription to McAfee LiveSafe. As a PC Show special, a Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury gaming mouse is also bundled with its purchase.
A perennial crowd favorite, the Dell XPS 13 ultrabook features a 6th generation Intel Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Its 13.3-inch, touch-enabled display has a maximum resolution of 3,200 x 1,800 pixels. Priced at $2,299, the free gift bundle includes accidental damage cover, and a $20 cafe voucher.
Dell monitors are once again out in full force at PC Show. The U2515H (second one on top row) is a 25-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel monitor, and it's going for $529. Resolution aside, we like that it supports HDMI/MHL (two in fact), DisplayPort, and has five USB 3.0 downstream ports.
AOC
This AOC I3284VWH is a 1080p, 31.5-inch monitor with a narrow bezel and built-in 5W x 2 speakers. Going for $459 at PC Show.
Apple
The iPad Mini 4 is the thinnest and lightest tablet Apple has ever made, and it also has a more powerful processor and much better display than the iPad Mini 3. Grab one from Nubox starting at $548 and get a free screen protector, case, USB stand and fan.

Again, no shortage of ASUS gaming monitors at PC Show. The newest model is the ROG Swift PG348Q, which is a 34-inch curved monitor with an ultra-wide QHD resolution. If you are looking for a good workhorse of a laptop, the 14-inch ASUS X456 notebook should be at the top of your list. Brother
Brother calls this the top choice of SOHOs, and it’s also the winner of our Editor’s Choice awards 2015. The MFC-J2720 InkBenefit does full A4 duplex Print/Copy/Scan/Fax/PC Fax, and has an ISO print speed of up to 22/20ppm (Mono/Color). It also handles direct photo print via USB, Media Cards and PictBridge, and features 2 years on-site warranty. This is retailing for a special show price of S$338 (usual price $438) with $20 NTUC shopping vouchers.
The MFC-9330CDW is a compact color laser printer with duplex that supports Wi-Fi Direct printing, Google Cloud Print, and has a 35-sheet ADF. This prints up to 22ppm in both mono and color printing modes, and is going for S$498 with S$50 NTUC vouchers and free delivery. Plus, you’ll get 3 years on-site warranty.

Canon
The EOS 750D is a 24.2-megapixel APS-C DSLR that shoots at up to 5 frames per second and has a 3” capacitive vari-angle touch LCD. This is going for $1,499 at the show (with EF S 18-135 IS STM lens), and comes with one 16GB SD card, one 64GB SD cards, a Mild Enthusiast Crumpler bag, T4 tripod, LCD protector, and $100 cashback that you can use at the show if you sign up for their online warranty.
Those looking for a more compact option can consider the EOS M3.That’s going for $899 (with EF M 15-45 IS STM lens)and there’s a $200 cashback promotion at the show. This is one of Canon’s mirrorless offerings, and it features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with DIGIC 6 processor, allowing to reach ISO speeds of up to 25,600. This comes with one 16GB SD card, one 64GB SD cards, a Mild Enthusiast Crumpler bag, T4 tripod, and a LCD protector.

The Pixma MG3670 is a wireless all-in-one photo printer that has FastFront for easy paper loading. It also supports Google Cloud Print , Wi-Fi direct printing and AirPrint. It's going for a special show price of $129 (usual price $139) and comes with a free PG-740 Black Ink Cartridge and a pack of GP508 4R Photo Paper.
No display unit for this, but the Maxify MB5370 was the winner of our Editor’s choice this year, and it features a 3.0” Touch-screen LCD display, and a 500 sheet high-capacity paper cassette. Casio
If you're looking for a projector with a long lifespan, the Casio XJ-A147 is an ideal candidate because it's a lamp-free hybrid projector with a light source that lasts up to 20,000 hours. This XGA model is going for $1,399 and comes with a free EZ Cast Wi-Fi display adapter, carry case, and $80 Capitavouchers.
Creative
You may not have heard of them, but these E-MU Teak headphones are audiophile reference grade headphones done in partnership with Creative that have a frequency range of 5Hz-45kHz, and use 50mm Neodynium drivers with a bio-cellulose diaphragm. This normally goes for $999, but there’s a crazy deal at the show where you can get the Sound Blaster X7 (black), E-MU XM7 speakers, and a pair of these E-MU Teak headphones for just $1099, a savings of some $900!
The Sound Blaster Roar 2 is 20% smaller and 10% lighter than the first generation Sound Blaster Roar, but still packs the same five high performance drivers for fantastic sound. It comes in a choice of white or black, and is going for a show price $189 if you sign up to be a member at the show. You’ll also get a free reversible neoprene carrying bag.
Otherwise, there’s always their latest Creative iRoar, which offers 20 hours of playback on a single charge, and has its own SB-Axx1 sound processor built-in, allowing you to really get the sound as you want it.

D-Link
The D-Link DIR-895L is an AC5300-class router with MU-MIMO technology and a total data throughput of 5300Mbps (two 5GHz bands at 1300Mbps and one 2.4GHz band at 600Mbps).It’s going for S$399 (U.P. S$449) at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5083.
If you prefer an AC1900-class router instead, there’s the D-Link DIR-880L with dual-band support (one 2.4GHz and one 5GHz). It’s only S$185 (U.P. S$369), so you’re saving a ridiculous amount through this router. Find it at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5083.
If your home needs a range extender for areas with weaker Wi-Fi connectivity, or if you need to feed wireless networks into a remote wired-only device, consider the D-Link DAP-1665 Wireless Dual Band AC1200 Access Point. It supports both 2.4Ghz and 5GHz bands with a combined speed up to 1200Mbps (300Mbps for the 2.4GHz band alone). Now it’s S$89 (U.P. S$109) and you can find it at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5083.
Epson
The Epson L655 is a Wi-Fi enabled AIO Ink Tank Printer that prints at 33/20ppm (Mono/Color). It uses Epson’s Low Cost High Yield Ink Bottles for cost effective printing and has a warranty of one year or 50,000 pages (whichever comes first). This is going for $499 at the show, and comes with a free trolley and 1 additional year of warranty upon registration. What’s more, trade in any used laser or inkjet printer when you buy the L655, and you’ll get a $60 NTUC voucher.
For some reason, they only have the Epson L800 on display, but the Epson L805 looks exactly the same and is a 6-color photo ink tank system printer has a print speed of 37/38 ppm (Mono/Color), Wi-Fi connectivity, and can do borderless 4R photo prints in just 12 seconds. It also prints to CDs, and you can do regular A4 mono prints too. This is going for $379, $70 off the list price of $449 and comes with one year warranty or 3,000 pages (whichever comes first).
The Epson EH-TW5350 is an affordable full HD 3D home theater projector, with color and white brightness of 2,200 lumens. Going for $1,299 at PC Show, it comes with 2 pairs of 3D glasses and a free trolley.
Fitbit
The Fitbit Blaze is a sleek fitness-oriented smartwatch that can also track your workouts, monitor your performance stats, and gauge your exercise progress. The PurePulse continuous heart rate monitor gives accurate real-time feedback and multi-sport modes make it ideal for every type of exercise. Get one at PC Show for just $268 (usual price: $318)
Fujifilm
If you’re looking for a compact camera, do check out Fujifilm’s XQ1, as it features a 12MP X-Trans CMOS II sensor, f/1.8-4.9 zoom lens with 4x optical zoom and the ability to do Wi-Fi image transfer. This is going for just $309 at the show, and comes with a free 8GB SD card and a carrying case. That’s less than half the regular price of $649!
The X-A2 is also going on offer, as you can get this with the XC-16-50mm lens for just $800. This comes with a cleaning kit, 16GB Strontium SD card, an X-series product workshop, and a photo prints voucher.
Not listed on their brochure is an offer for the X-E2 with XF 18-55 lens. This is going for just $1199 with a free 16GB card thrown in, which is a great price for this mid-range camera with a 16MP X-Trans CMOS II sensor which not too long ago was retailing for close to $2000.

The DocuPrint CP225 w is an A4 Color S-LED Laser Printer that is network ready,Wi-Fi ready, supports AirPrint and Google Cloud Print, and has a 18ppm (color/mono) print speed. It comes with a 3 year carry-in warranty with drum coverage, and is going for S$259 with $40 of FairPrice vouchers thrown in.

The new 13.3” HP Spectre is a mere 10.4mm thick and comes a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel IPS display, with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. Powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i5-6200U CPU, it features a total of three USB Type-C ports, of which two support Thunderbolt 3. This configuration will cost you $2,299. For the higher-specced version that comes with an Intel Core i7-6500U CPU, with 8GB of system memory, and a 512GB SSD, the notebook will cost an additional $300, at $2,599. The free gift bundle includes a HP Premium Executive Brown Topload (worth $149), a 1-Year McAfee Internet Security subscription (worth $39), and a HP 2nd year local onsite warranty with third Business Day Response (UM952E, worth $229).
In the convertible department, there's the HP Spectre x360, which comes with an Intel Core i5-6200U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. Its speakers have been tuned by Bang & Olufsen, and it also sports a 1080p touchscreen IPS display. It is going for its usual price of $1,599. On top of that, you'll also receive a free HP carrying case, a 1-year McAfee Internet Security subscription, an upgrade to a 2-year local on-site warranty, and a Microsoft Designer Bluetooth mouse.
The HP Pavilion Gaming is a 15.6-inch gaming notebook equipped with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 1TB HDD. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card, and you also get stereo speakers that have been tuned by Bang & Olufsen. It costs just $1,299, down from its usual $1,499 price tag. In addition, you'll receive a HP Value backpack, a 1-year McAfee Internet Security subscription, and an upgrade to a 2-year local on-site warranty with every purchase.
The HP ENVY 5540 e-All-In-One is one of HP’s star buys, and it’s going for S$129 at this show. It comes with a S$20 FairPrice voucher, 1 Tri-Color ink cartridge, a box of HP Social media snapshots paper, and a free trolley. Pretty good deal for a printer that does up 8/12ppm (color/mono), borderless and duplex printing, and has a scan resolution of up to 1200 dpi.
The Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-In-One does print, copy, scan, fax and web and has an ISO print speed that goes up to 18/10 ppm (mono/color). It boasts a 15,000 page-per-month duty cycle and has a scan resolution of up to 1200 dpi. It’s also Wi-Fi enabled and comes with two years on-site exchange warranty. It’s selling for S$199 (usual price $269) and comes with a $20 FairPrice voucher, one free set of CMYK ink cartridge (worth $85.90) and a free trolley.
It’s Klipsch’s 70th anniversary this year, and to celebrate, they’re giving a special price on the R6 in-ears. These are going for $109, down from the usual price of $149.That’s a pretty good price for these earphones that feature 6.5mm dual magnet microspeakers.

Lenovo
Looking for a premium business notebook, do consider the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon that is powered by an Intel Core i5-6200U, and coupled with 8GB of system memory, with a 256GB SSD for storage. The svelte notebook weighs just 1.18kg, and sports a 14” FHD display. It’s priced at $2,799, and its free bundle (worth $506) consists of an extended warranty plan (free second and third year), a Samsonite backpack, a Lenovo wireless mouse, and a OneLink connector to VGA/RJ45 adapter.
The Lenovo ideapad 510S is a thin and lightweight notebook that is powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i6-6200U mobile CPU. It comes with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 1TB HDD. The LG G5 is the first modular smartphone on the market, with a variety of 'friends' you can add to it to change its capabilities. The 5.3-inch smartphone also has a QHD always-on IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 processor. The Linksys EA9200 is a AC3200 tri-band router that broadcasts two separate 5GHz networks and one 2.4GHz with a total throughput of 3200Mbps (1300Mbps on both 5GHz bands and 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band). It’s going at S$299 (U.P. S$399). It’s at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5087.
The Linksys WRT1900AC is an AC1900-class router that won our AC1900 router shootout, so that’s saying something. Linksys has this here as a special deal – at only S$229 (U.P. S$319). Find it at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5087.
The Linksys EA6900-AP is the alternative AC1900-class router, without all the bells and whistles. AC1900 routers offer one 5GHz band at 1300Mbps and one 2.4GHz band at 600Mbps. As Linksys’s star buy, you can grab it at S$199 (U.P. S$229) over at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5087.
Logitech / UE

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a 6th generation Intel Core i7-6650U (2.2GHz, 4MB cache), 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Its 12.3-inch, 2,736 x 1,824 pixels display has a higher resolution than the previous-gen Surface Pro 3 and still be thinner than it. For people looking for a tri-band AC3200 router, Netgear has a Nighthawk X6. It’s available at S$299 (U.P. S$399), at Expo Hall 6, Booth 6000C.
If you like your security footage in Full HD resolution (1080p), there’s the Netgear Arlo-Q VMC3040 IP camera. It also features two-way audio so you can listen to intruders, has night vision, and free cloud video recording. It’s only S$299 (U.P. S$339) for all these features. Olympus
Olympus’ OM-D EM-10 is their star buy for this show. It may be an older model, but is still a steady performer, with 3-axis image stabilization built-in and built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. This is going as a twin lens kit with the 14-42mm and the 40-150mm for just $998, and you’ll get a 16GB SD card, 3 month extended warranty, and a product workshop thrown in. The first 20 customers per day will also get a $200 lens voucher that you can use on their online store.
Otherwise, look at their latest Pen F. No discounts for this as it’s still selling for $1798 (body only), but you’ll get a $200 lens voucher, a $130 Harvey Norman voucher, and the option to purchase the 14-42 EZ lens for just $199 (down from $498), meaning you can get the lens for $69 by trading in the Harvey Norman voucher straight away. Philips
The Philips 279X6QJSW is a 27-inch full HD curved monitor that supports AMD FreeSync. Going for $479 at the show, and comes with free $100 NTUC vouchers.
Courts is selling this 65-inch Philips 6800 4K TV for $3,399 at PC Show. 2-sided Ambilight and a dual-core processor aside, this is an Android-powered TV, which means access to the Google Play store.
Plantronics
The winner of our best mainstream headphones awards for this year, the BackBeat Sense is going for just $249 at the show, and you get a free iWalk Power Bank and a flight adapter thrown in. Not too bad for a pair of wireless headphones that offer a listening time of up to 18 hours!
Gamers and audiophiles should check out the Fervor Pro Stereo BT NFC Headset. These wireless over-ear headphones has a battery life of 19 hours and a standby time of 360 hours while needing only four hours to charge. It’s going for a show special of $66, down from the usual price of $89.

If you’re in the market for a portable 4G network device for your travels, you can consider the Prolink PRT7010L. The new Samsung 750 EVO SSD is at PC Show 2016. The Toshiba Protege Z30 is a svelte business ultrabook that measures just 17.9mm thick, and tips the scale at just 1.2kg.
