The 26th edition of the PC Show is now happening at the Singapore Expo, from today June 2 to Sunday June 5. Held in Halls 5 and 6, doors will open from 12pm to 9pm throughout these four days. Acer

The Acer Switch Alpha 2-in-1 convertible notebook features a 12-inch, 10-point touchscreen display, with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. Its marquee feature is the Acer LiquidLoop cooling technology that does away with active cooling fans. The device is powered by an Intel “Skylake” Core i7-6500U mobile CPU, coupled with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. There’s a single USB 3.1 Gen 1, Type-C reversible port that will allow connectivity of up to 5Gbps for supported devices. The Acer Switch Alpha weighs about 1.2kg (with keyboard), and boasts of a battery life of up to 8 hours! This version of the Switch Alpha is priced at $1,898.
The Acer Predator G9-792 gaming laptop boasts of a 17.3” full HD IPS display, and is powered by the Intel Core i7-6700U mobile CPU. It has 16GB of system RAM, and its graphics chipset is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M, with 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM. Its storage options include a 128GB SSD and a 1TB HD. Priced at $2,898, instead of its usual price of $3.,098. Its free gift bundle includes a Predator Gaming 8 backpack, a Steelseries mouse, and mousepad.

Aftershock

With custom liquid cooling, the Aftershock UltraCore is the ultimate bespoke desktop gaming PC, which is powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700K CPU, with 16GB of DDR4-2133 RAM. The graphics cards installed is none other than a pair of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, in SLI configuration. It features a 250GB Samsung 850 M.2 SSD, and a 2TB HDD for storage options. It's price tag is a whopping $4,488, and comes bundled with a Microsoft gaming mouse and mousepad, and the Rainbow Six Siege PC game title.

Based on the Intel Skull Canyon reference design the Aftershock Nano-S mini PC is powered by a 6th-gen Intel Core i7-6770HQ processor and Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580. It has 8GB RAM, a 250GB SSD, and supports Thunderbolt 3. Going for $1,412.

The Alienware 15 is powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700U mobile CPU, with 16GB of system RAM. Its graphics chipset is driven by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M, with 3Gb of GDDR5 VRAM. Its storage options include an 256GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD. Its 15.6

It costs $2,199, and comes with a 1-year ProSupport warranty, and a 1-year subscription to McAfee LiveSafe. As a PC Show special, a Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury gaming mouse is also bundled with its purchase.

Dell monitors are once again out in full force at PC Show. The U2515H (second one on top row) is a 25-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel monitor, and it's going for $529. Resolution aside, we like that it supports HDMI/MHL (two in fact), DisplayPort, and has five USB 3.0 downstream ports.

Again, no shortage of ASUS gaming monitors at PC Show. The newest model is the ROG Swift PG348Q, which is a 34-inch curved monitor with an ultra-wide QHD resolution. The EOS 750D is a 24.2-megapixel APS-C DSLR that shoots at up to 5 frames per second and has a 3” capacitive vari-angle touch LCD. This is going for $1,499 at the show (with EF S 18-135 IS STM lens), and comes with one 16GB SD card, one 64GB SD cards, a Mild Enthusiast Crumpler bag, T4 tripod, LCD protector, and $100 cashback that you can use at the show if you sign up for their online warranty.
Those looking for a more compact option can consider the EOS M3.That’s going for $899 (with EF M 15-45 IS STM lens)and there’s a $200 cashback promotion at the show.  This is one of Canon’s mirrorless offerings, and it features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with DIGIC 6 processor, allowing to reach ISO speeds of up to 25,600. This comes with one 16GB SD card, one 64GB SD cards, a Mild Enthusiast Crumpler bag, T4 tripod, and a LCD protector.

You may not have heard of them, but these E-MU Teak headphones are audiophile reference grade headphones done in partnership with Creative that have a frequency range of 5Hz-45kHz, and use 50mm Neodynium drivers with a bio-cellulose diaphragm. This normally goes for $999, but there’s a crazy deal at the show where you can get the Sound Blaster X7 (black), E-MU XM7 speakers, and a pair of these E-MU Teak headphones for just $1099, a savings of some $900!

If your home needs a range extender for areas with weaker Wi-Fi connectivity, or if you need to feed wireless networks into a remote wired-only device, consider the D-Link DAP-1665 Wireless Dual Band AC1200 Access Point. It supports both 2.4Ghz and 5GHz bands with a combined speed up to 1200Mbps (300Mbps for the 2.4GHz band alone). Now it’s S$89 (U.P. S$109) and you can find it at Expo Hall 5, Booth 5083.

Epson

The Epson L655 is a Wi-Fi enabled AIO Ink Tank Printer that prints at 33/20ppm (Mono/Color). It uses Epson’s Low Cost High Yield Ink Bottles for cost effective printing and has a warranty of one year or 50,000 pages (whichever comes first). This is going for $499 at the show, and comes with a free trolley and 1 additional year of warranty upon registration. What’s more, trade in any used laser or inkjet printer when you buy the L655, and you’ll get a $60 NTUC voucher.
For some reason, they only have the Epson L800 on display, but the Epson L805 looks exactly the same and is a 6-color photo ink tank system printer has a print speed of 37/38 ppm (Mono/Color), Wi-Fi connectivity, and can do borderless 4R photo prints in just 12 seconds. The new 13.3” HP Spectre is a mere 10.4mm thick and comes a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel IPS display, with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. Powered by the 6th generation Intel Core i5-6200U CPU, it features a total of three USB Type-C ports, of which two support Thunderbolt 3. This configuration will cost you $2,299. For the higher-specced version that comes with an Intel Core i7-6500U CPU, with 8GB of system memory, and a 512GB SSD, the notebook will cost an additional $300, at $2,599.   The free gift bundle includes a HP Premium Executive Brown Topload (worth $149), a 1-Year McAfee Internet Security subscription (worth $39), and a HP 2nd year local onsite warranty with third Business Day Response (UM952E, worth $229).

Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card, and you also get stereo speakers that have been tuned by Bang & Olufsen. It costs just $1,299, down from its usual $1,499 price tag.
