Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin was ecstatic when he bagged two awards at the 27th Golden Melody Awards, which was held on Sunday (25 June) at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan.
Photos show the 35-year-old singer’s delight when he picked up his second Best Mandarin Singer title for his album “From M.E To Myself” and the Best Composer award for his song “Twilight”.
Overall, Taiwanese pop group Sodagreen was the biggest winner, bagging a total of five awards for the Best Band, Best Composer, Producer, Musical Arranger and Best Album.
Taiwanese singers Julia Peng and Eli Hsieh were also among the winners at the awards ceremony, nabbing the Best Mandarin Female Singer award and Best New Artist award, respectively.
