When in Australia, you must do the Balloon Spectacular

Since 2008, the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) government has been running the Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular. Widely regarded as Australia's most exciting events, the Balloon Spectacular is one of the world's top hot-air ballooning events. The festival takes place on the lawns of the Parliament House in Canberra. Over 50 hot-air balloons from all over the world launch at dawn and float over the city. It is the only festival where ballooners are allowed to fly directly over government buildings.
