SINGAPORE — The police are looking for a man believed to be involved in a case of alleged abuse of a six-month-old infant.

The suspect handed over the unconscious child of his girlfriend to a nurse at the Singapore General Hospital on Saturday before fleeing, the police said in a statement on Monday (26 August).

Both the man and his girlfriend are 28.

The police were alerted about the incident and intercepted the suspect’s car at Jalan Bukit Merah towards Lower Delta Road. But the man fled on foot.

Police found drug-taking utensils in his car.
