Primavera Sound announces line-up, confirms Arcade Fire, The xx, Frank Ocean and more

Primavera Sound have announced its line-up for 2017, confirming acts such as Arcade Fire, The xx, Frank Ocean, and Bon Iver will all be playing the festival.

Some of the other acts confirmed for next year are Angel Olsen, Aphex Twin, The Black Angels, Glass Animals, Grace Jones, Saint Etienne, Van Morrison, Solange and The Swet Shop Boys, with Seu Jorge from Wes Anderson's "The Life Aquatic" playing A Tribute to David Bowie.

Headliner Frank Ocean will be making a rare live performance following the release of his hugely-anticipated new album, "Blonde," while The xx will also be performing new tracks from their upcoming third album "I See You."

Fellow headliners Arcade Fire are also set to release new material next year with their follow-up to "Reflektor."

The event is one of Europe's biggest and most famous festivals, and takes place near Barcelona at the Parc Del Forum. Primavera Sound 2017 will be held from May 31 through June 4 with the full line-up and ticket information available on the official website.
